Takács could leave for the right price

Experienced defender, Zoltán Takács has been training with the second team after the management put him out of the first team squad. The situation hasn't changed at all since then. Despite that he scored twice during pre-season matches in the B team, Takács couldn't reclaim his place, so the press suggests that he is likely to leave Újpest soon.

"If we receive a suitable offer for him, he is free to leave" - said Zoran Szpisljak to pepsifoci.hu

The Nemzeti Sport Online says that if Takács fails to find a foreign team then he will probably play at Vasas, another Budapest-based team.

The 28-year old central defender arrived at Újpest back in 2009 and since then he has played 47 matches, scoring 2 goals on these occasions. Before that Takács played in Honvéd and DVSC, too, and for half a year he has been a member of the Italian team, SPAL 1907.

During this season he has played only 3 times, partly because of the many injuries which held him back.
